John Charter is from the Northern California farm town of Colusa, California, where his family farms rice and almonds. At an early age he began developing his artistic eye with the creation of numerous surreal drawings and impressionist paintings, eventually winning Best of Show at the California State Fair. Today he continues to pursue his passion for filmmaking as an art. In 2005 he graduated Summa Cum Laude at California State University, Monterey Bay, with a Degree in Film and a Minor in Business. Now he works as a freelance Director, Cinematographer and Editor in Los Angeles and he is in development for his first feature as Director.
